    January 19, 2012 - Still kicking and showing its age nicely. Sweet red briar fruits and a hint of acidity and tannins. Interesting thinning red color. Overall, very nice.

    July 18, 2008 - always agood under $20 value, easy to drink with jamminessand softness. It improved over the course of the evening.

    April 26, 2008 - Initial barnyard smell that blew off with 15 minutes of decanting. After 15 minutes of decanting notes turned to berries and spice. After one hour in the decanter aromas and flavor of chocolate, baking spices and plums. Very nice for the price.

    March 2, 2008 - What a great nose i must say for under 20$ just wow! Nose had a strong touch of caramelized fruit with a hint of smoke the color was nice ruby red with a hint of bronze. Thetaste was typical zin had a great deep fruit and smoke with a slight taste of pepper and earth great balance. The Body was nice and beefy a lot of backbone typical to a good Zin! The finish was medium to long with perfect balance of tannins ....great zin all around for under 20$ would justify to nit pick at all the flaw wouldnt be fair this is one of the best wines for its value!
