Community Tasting Notes 1

September 6, 2016 - Tasted after a series of their Ares Shiraz and Aerope Grenache, this was a lot less sweet and quite savory with more red than dark fruit notes, earth, eucalyptus, smoke and spices on the nose. On the palate rather fresh and quite elegant with firm and powerful but ripe tannins. Good persistence, but not as long as Ares. Very good and well worth trying again in a couple of years. 91-92+
