April 11, 2023 - Two hour decant, showed clean and pure on the nose but the funky animale is stronger than I remember it being. Still, balanced and complicated by lavender and sunny fruit. There are layers here, on the nose and on the palate. Very good wine.

April 22, 2022 - Not quite as good as the bottle we had in the south of France a few years ago, but that is likely due to ambiance, decant time (none this time) and price (restaurant markup is hard to stomach).
But still a really nice bottle and I don’t regret the choice. Great with our steak. Medium bodied and more restrained red than mist ‘steakhouse wines’ to be clear, this is not a typical steakhouse wine. Lovely slightly funky nose, peppery and red fruited on the palate. The nose outperforms the palate this time. I think with a longer decant this would be a few points better.

October 30, 2021 - I found it fairly withholding. But looking at other reviews, maybe I didn't decant for long enough?

September 28, 2021 - Decanted for close to two hours, very much closed at first. Opens up to show complex and beautiful nose of lavender and musk and that wildness of Provençal herbs and earth. Fruit too, dark and sweet. The wine stays elegant in every way, and is well balanced and bright. Excellent.

August 10, 2021 - Ready to roll. Some light sediment. An initial aroma of sweaty horses, which fades with an hour of aeration, though a barnyard element persists. Otherwise, a smooth herbal red with moderate to high acidity, medium body, moderate intensity.

July 2, 2021 - Beautiful wine. Improved over several hours with air. Red fruit, earth, leaves, very bright on the palate

June 27, 2021 - Shows its age in a good way, it's vibrant and enjoyable. But all the same I don't see much upside from here: dried cherries, some herbs. Blend of grenache, mourvedre, cinsault and syrah.

December 18, 2020 - Drank over the course of 3 hours, a bit muted and tannic upon first opening nose of red fruits, flavors are herbal, not as fruity as other vintages, though the fruit started to come out more with air. Wine has a lot of complexity and evolved a lot over the three hours, has this nice strawberry flavor in the background which became accentuated with air and time. Best sip was the last, which makes me think I drank this too young. Very nice, should probably pick up some more, but I do prefer other vintages which I remember being a little more fruit forward.

December 6, 2020 - Very good wine in need of some more time. While certainly enjoyable with its medium to full-bodied flavours of ripe dark fruits and some barnyard, structure gradually took over and the wine became quite dry and a little hard. However, there is enough stuffing, freshness and overall balance to be confident about its future. And the wine has a nice restraint, like a cross between a Bandol and a more "atlantic" Bordeaux. 90+
