November 27, 2020 - Light bodied, which this Mendocino site doesn’t always seem to produce. Extremely fresh. Sour cherries. Perfumed. Juicy acid.

May 7, 2020 - Opened another of these five months after my last tasting. Agree with the last notes and score. This is an excellent lighter style Pinot with bright strawberry and herbal (almost grassy) flavors. I wish I had more...and luckily I do.

April 19, 2020 - We've become accustomed to Anthill slugging above its weight class and this is no exception. Light and fresh with nice acid, emerging complexity and a medium long finish. Strawberries and currants on the nose. Some sweet and sour cherries to start and then cranberries, a touch of licorice and a finish of plum.

January 18, 2020 - Found undocumented anthill inventory, popped and poured. Good but still young, will decant the next bottle.

January 3, 2020 - Reading many other notes made me realize that this is a Pinot that may not meet some expectations. It is a higher acid, lighter style that definitely needs food (we paired with boneless pork chops that had an onion marmalade - fantastic pairing). Agree with other comments about the strawberry, even cranberry notes. I decanted for an hour but could probably benefit from more time.
