August 18, 2021 - Un peu dur, décharné, clairement dû.

March 6, 2020 - 93-94 Stands up to some Cote Rotie. Start of drinking window - beguiling, harmony.

N: Intensely fresh smashed purple fruit, blackcurrant opulence, parma violets, and granite and briny marinated black olives in wild herb/heather. Fills the room.

P: Concentrated blackcurrant and black cherry, punctuated with black olive tapenade, sechuan pepper black rocks, wild underbrush, subtle oaky baking spice. Refreshing fine med grainy Tans and mouthwatering med+ A. Dark, savoury, dense, but pure and finessed. Wow

October 27, 2019 - Équilibré, beau nez, minéral, plus léger qu'un CDR.

March 15, 2019 - I am not really a Rhône drinker but this really surprised me. Not a hint of rusticity this was actually a smooth well balanced easy drinking wine with bramble but soft fruits and well judged tannins. Would definitely drink again

September 7, 2018 - Suggest to decant this for hours, maybe a day. A substantial wine with flavors that linger long but is struggling for balance. Not an easy wine to love, fruit is subservient to the acid and tannins are significant.

Beautiful aroma of Syrah from the northern Rhone. Delightful clarity and rich ruby color. This is an acid forward wine with restranied but tasty fruit.

Light bodied, bright, perhaps this wine needs more time in the bottle.

Either way, I like this bottle but will not be running out to buy more. Don't have the patience or confidence.
