September 27, 2019 - Concentrated and really deep aromas that in a strange way is perceived as sexy against the dark and mysterious way. Pretty fruit with blackberries, ripe blackcurrants, exotic spices, bloody meats, dried leather and dark flower.

Pretty full bodied wine with lots of lovely fresh fruit. Tends towards darker berries, but also has red plum and ripe cherries. Clear herb and more exotic spice. Also some darker forest. What impresses here is the freshness of the slightly warmer vintage. Long salty finish that reveals firm but perfect tannins. One of the best Cornas wines to be made and better it will be. 93p. (93-95p)

July 27, 2019 - Painfully young with searing tannins. Great purity of fruit.

July 6, 2019 - Lots of fruit and nice balanced drink but just a little uni dimensional.

November 12, 2018 - At first this was very tight, so it went into a decanter. After an hour or two it opened up a good bit. The vintage shows itself a little in that there's just a bit more of everything here, but it is not in the slightest bit heavy or overdone. Definitely classic Allemand and a strong vintage for this wine. I'd hold but if drinking now a good decant is beneficial.

October 27, 2018 - 2015 Northern Rhones Blind: Single blind. Now we're talking - the first real wow wine of the night. An intense and full nose of polished black fruit, pepper, olive and smoked meat. Wow, the palate sports terrific concentration and intensity. Large scale, yet suave and polished. A complete wine with everything in full harmony.
