April 3, 2019 - An earthy nose is the first thing I notice after opening. The nicely integrated taste displays black, evolved fruit and dry herbs including pepper. Firm tannins are clearly present and give it a backbone. There is no outspoken sweet or acidic touch resulting in a nice balance. This is a serious wine, just lacking some depth, making it in the end just fall short of my 90 or more scoring tier.
