December 18, 2015 - A very fine mature Cornas. Starts wildly animalistic out of the bottle, but with air more fruit comes forward and the leather and bacon moves to the background. Crimson purple color (very cloudy with a fair amount of sediment). Nose of black olives and leather. The palate is fresh and long with pomegranate and plum fruits, accompanied by bacon and leather notes. This is in great shape and should easily go another decade.
