November 1, 2009 - Light golden color. Citrus and stone strong on the nose. Light mouthfeel with some body. Citrus is the main player here. Also a touch of grass and flinty stone. Good strong acidity. Very nice and went well with grilled cornish hens.
July 15, 2008 - Citrus with a little grassiness. Slight effervescence. Good.
June 27, 2008 - Enjoyable. Crisp with a bit of spritz. Citrus without the grapefruit overtones. Some grass and mineral as well.
June 26, 2008 - Not as much grapefruit as most NZ Sauv Blancs. Nose of fresh cut grass, mineral and citrus. Pallatte is grassy with some lingering lemon and minerals. Has a spritziness that's kinda nice. Very enjoyable.
February 5, 2008 - Little oaky for me on the finish, otherwise a decent New Zealand SB
December 26, 2007 - This is not what I expected. If I had blind tasted this, I would have guessed a bone dry riesling or a muscadet. A lot of lime and grapefruit upfront with strong acidity that dominates through the mid palate and the finish. Not bad, but not your typical NZ sauv. Would go very well with shellfish.
October 14, 2007 - This is an excellent, light SB for a summer afternoon with grilled salmon. Slightly fizzy upon opening, the fizz dissipates within an hour, but I like it. I don't find it as bone dry as others have.
April 20, 2007 - A fine SB. White peach, fig, melon on the minerally nose, with citrus and some herbs on the palate. Round finish with just enough acid carries it off. A winner.
April 19, 2007 - Somewhat less distict than a typical N.Z. S.B.
Not as pronounced gooseberry taste. Slightly bitter. Nice lingering mixture of light fruit flavors.
January 2, 2007 - Crisp and clean. Gooseberry / citrus palatte.
