August 12, 2018 - Very Nice wine. Deep, jeweled Garnet in color. Perfumed fruit and spice on the nose overlaying fresh roses. Wine is elegantly styled. Palate favors Raspberry and black cherries with notes of licorice and spice. Dry and moderately hot with strong acidity and tannin. Well balanced and a lingering finish.

April 15, 2017 - Ruby red appearance. looks thin. Good nose of fruit, toasted vanilla. Sharp tannins, light fruit. Needs time for tannins to mellow, hiding potential

February 9, 2017 - First bottle of the case. Should have let it calm down for a couple of weeks, but couldn't wait. For a somewhat turbulent bottle, this was terrific. At the price point, the quality for value is silly-good. Great fruit, fine-grained tannins, great balance. A really nice Barb. Looking forward to seeing how this ages.
