December 16, 2022 - Tasted blind with 2013 BV Georges de la Tour private reserve, almost all tasters preferred the RdV, elegant, cassis, blackberry, integrated tannins, long finish, very attractive wine.

March 27, 2021 - I gave 2 extra points for the ability to grow and make Virginia red wine without the usual Virginia red wine characteristics. The attention to detail in all aspects of growing and making this wine are amazing! Quite an interesting story they have too!

January 30, 2021 - Deep ruby. Still big fruit on the nose. Blackberry, black cherry, black pepper, graphite. Tannins are super smooth and well integrated. Full bodied. Long finish.
