November 22, 2021 - Pale to medium garnet, filtered
Aromatics medium. Roses, cherry blossom, some fresh forest floor and warm ripe red plum. Nice, almost feminine and lingering. Immediately identifiable as a nebbiolo.
Palate has medium body. Tannins medium +, initially well integrated, fine grained on upper palate. Acid medium +. Alcohol medium +. Brief red ripe stone fruits of cherry and sweet plum followed by a chalky note later that lingers on the finish.
Finish has a medium length. Balance to the alcohol.
    Aromatics are the best part.
I'm not quite sure what aging is going to accomplish with this but I will probably hold my next bottle for greater than a year. I wonder if the chalky notes are a different tannin that needs time? Has all the structure to age, but alcohol seems to be a little much. Bottle said 15%.

October 12, 2021 - Overall consistent with tasting notes a year ago, only blossoming on the nose into a lovely spectrum of dried roses, cloves, and deep cranberry notes, with a rich, textured palate. Quite linear but balanced and refined. Drink 2021-2028. Technical score: 91. Enjoyment score: 93.

July 24, 2021 - Prime standard example of Barolo. This one from La Morra. Distinct cherry, anis, leather.
slightly nutty, light body. Slightest hint of vanilla perhaps from Frenh oak. High acidity with a long and bitter finnish. Garnet colour.
