January 25, 2024 - This bottle was similar to the last, but more fruit is showing. Still remaining big and firm and an easy drinking wine.
May 22, 2023 - The wine has flavor of Blackberry, plum and raspberry along with dark chocolate and a touch of coffee that show in layers. The middle is big and heavy, and smooth in texture. The finish shows the dark fruits with a smooth, medium and dry tannin. The wine still has structure to develop more.

April 24, 2021 - A group brought in several wines for an informal tasting and this was one of them. The Cab was decanted and open an hour before I got to it and the nose was big, bold, perfumery and intoxicating like opium. The color in the glass is a deep blue purple and presents itself as a very young wine. The palate is even bigger than the nose and is filled with cassis, deep ripe blackberry, mushroom, tobacco, and black cherry. This is a massive mouth full of Cabernet that has had 7 years so far to age. There's an unusual mint tone in the back end that reminds me of the flavor of oregano (without the smell), or maybe a heavy licorice note that lingers in the back of the finish that is agreeable. It's a massive big ass Cab that leaves a lasting memory for sure and stands out from the rest. I consider myself lucky that we had a positive experience because the notes below are concerning and might indicate a lot of bottle variance
October 20, 2019 - big bold in your face wine but not with much character.....my other 2 will be going back to the store... not worth the price paid
September 29, 2019 - Decanted for 5 minutes and decanted back into the bottle (double D). Consumed about 20 min after with Seabass.
This wine shows good body and some complexity but my 2 bottles had some leaking so I may not have the real experience...
August 11, 2019 - Opened and double decanted for around 30 minutes. Dark cocoa, herbs with a big and bold body, good finish. We left half bottle to consume 3 hours later, it was gone... acid with no fruit and oxidized. Lesson learned for my last bottle, decanted and consume fast....
June 10, 2019 - Very solid wine. Big fruit, drinking extremely well after an hour of air.
