Community Tasting Notes 4

June 13, 2019 - The gem among the after-dinner reds our host opened last night for the bright spice and herb notes and lack of overt oak. Great tang and balance.

December 4, 2018 - Medium ruby in colour, there were aromas of cherry, green pepper, and black olive. Fairly full-bodied with a medium finish, this bone dry wine had raspberry and vanilla on the palate. It was fruity and simple, with tannins in the tongue that lasted about 8-10 seconds. It was easy to drink and would be a nice wine to serve to a group with differing tastes in wine. I would buy this wine again.

December 1, 2018 - Full-bodied - tight & crisp, this Cab Franc delivered currant & cranberry fruit flavors, along with suggestions of creamy caramel, smoke & a lively spice.

The attack is rich & smooth now (with age), with peppery, resin-y black raspberry flavors, against a backdrop of fine grained, black tea tannin.

    Perfect rib wine.

October 26, 2016 - Fairly dark red. Nice nose of chassis, thyme, olives and green pepper. Slightly ripe flavours and a nice dry finish.

After 2 days in the fridge sealed this wine opened up and also became more complex. Cedar box, herbs, coffee beans, and olives. Really interesting wine.
