June 24, 2023 - Nose is muted when it’s too cold. Aromas start coming out after it’s getting warmer. Nose is lovely with citrus, stone fruit, honey, mineral and oaky. Palate is focus and integrated. Classic grand cru burgundy white.
October 28, 2021 - {Bought by DE in 2007; drunk with DH and DE over dinner with 2007 Henri Boillot Pucelles, as Pucelles abuts Batard} Ripe, now in the stage of being round without much acid cut, very complete with tuna crudo then scallops for dinner. Open for several hours at restaurant and then at home, did not fade until next day. Marzipan, some lanolin in the spectrum of flavors, which were dominated by classic Cote d'Or acacia and an intriguing hint of citrus pith. An excellent bottle.
September 24, 2021 - From vines aged around 30 years old, matured in 50% new oak.
Explosive on nose. Thanks to the great vintage ripe fruits. Integrated and complex, Prominent gunflint, wet stone, array of ripe orchard and exotic fruits, mellowed toasty oak flavours, honey and roasted hazelnut, quite creamy too. Fresh, focus and bold. Outstanding Batard Montrachet!
August 30, 2019 - From magnum. Oxidized, very dark color. While I was able to get some fruit from it, this clearly was not what it's supposed to be.
March 31, 2019 - Bright, light golden color; clearly GC just by nosing, gravitas, sea shells and lanolin with classic white burg character. Shows heft but with great balance around a mineral core. No overt ripeness of the vintage here. Excellent!!!

Un chardo riche et opulent, manquant de tension et limite oxy, très -très- decevant quand on a vu son pedigree; il y a du fruit, de l’ananas et des fleurs blanches, mais le vin semble flancher du mauvais côté à chaque gorgée, semblant aromatiquement fatigué, manquant de fraicheur.
Vu les autres commentaires cette bouteille a-t-elle été mal stockée?
