October 13, 2018 - Decanted for 30 minutes. Great nose on this wine, lots of dark fruits but also expressing noted of cedar, figs, dried, leather. Full bodied, rich, velvety, and very fruit forward. Rather short finish for me though. This wine feels very extracted, big fruit bomb if you are into that. Overall, good, not great. Nothing too memorable, tastes like other wines of similar price. Doesn't feel like it has the "oomph" for long term aging, so suggest drinking up now, in a good spot.

February 11, 2018 - Man, o' man. Wow. A lovers delight. Deep dark crimson red - almost ruby. Right away on the nose you take in plum, herbs, some leather, pepper and faint forest/pine. Lots of big fruit (black and red raspberries, strawberries) and subdued sweetness with a tiny touch of sour on the back with the sour lingering to the end. Fills the mouth wonderfully. Coravined a glass and a half yesterday, but with the time to enjoy today, I popped the cork and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon.

January 13, 2018 - While still young this wine already is very drinkable with smooth tannins.

December 25, 2017 - Strong cassis and alcohol on the notes at the start, placed in decanter for 45min and everything seemed to have softened. Dark garnet red/purple. Very nice black current, blue fruit and some hint of spice and well integrated oak on both the nose and palate. Medium body and medium finish which was supple and smooth. Perhaps not a tremendous QPR but a very well made and enjoyable wine nonetheless.
