September 21, 2021 - Somewhat of an annual TN: quite disappointed. Not fleshing any, rather "green" still. While I appreciate the integrity of this style, this showing did not resonate with me.

June 6, 2021 - By far the best of the 4 bottles i have consumed. Tannins finally integrated, dark fruit with some tar, bacon and molasses…much improved and think it has several years in front of it

April 8, 2021 - Medium garnet. Dark at the core but no purple in sight. Aromas are cool, clean , fresh and fairly restrained. Some licorice and euchalyptus and deep rich fruit. Tastes like it smells. Polished. Balanced. Very nice wine. Drinking well on day two.

February 19, 2021 - Pop and pour, consumed over 2 hours. Appearance: Clear, pale purple. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity, developing aromas of bramble, black pepper, raspberry, strawberry, and hints of shoe leather. Palate: Dry, high acid, medium alcohol, medium+ tannins, pronounced intensity, medium body, with flavors of tart dark red fruit, black pepper, and spice with a medium+ finish. Excellent effort drinking well currently but with many, 5+, years of life ahead. A Garagiste steal at $14, 2 left in the cellar.
