March 12, 2022 - Bobby Banger wine. High acid, high tannin, lots of oak. Heavy extraction 15% abv. Welcome to boomer city. Hammer time! Jimmy Succling would go hog wild for it!

June 17, 2021 - So much to like here. Oak monster right out of the bottle but that blows off with a hour of air. Better on day-2, and certainly better in 2 years. Fantastic QPR @ $48.

January 24, 2021 - Nose of black berry, dusty gravel, freshly made coffee, black currants, and cigar box, same on the palate, big body, very tasty, at its peak and will easily hold another 7 years, mouth filling fruit, rich fruit, paired with a grilled steak, tannins seemed to have resolved themselves, long finish. December 20, 2020 - Agree with most previous reviews, one could pay much more and do worse. I appreciated its balanced restraint.
December 17, 2020 - Full-bodied, rich, yet refreshing. Definitely not a typical California Cab in that it is not overly sweet. Has some mature, old-world Bordeaux charm. Acidic at first, but dissipated fast. Cherry, cranberry, dust and earth with leather and tobacco too. Nice plum, cassis, blueberry and baking spice.
