February 18, 2024 - Organic. 55% from the 2015 harvest + 45% of perpetual reserve wines going back to 2012. Bottled in September 2016 and disgorged on October 13, 2022. The nose is gorgeously rich, spicy and complex. There is a TON going on here. The palate follows suit but all that richness and complexity is complimented by incredible freshness and vibrancy, not mention a slightly salty minerality, all of which really keeps you going back for more. This is beautiful and should continue to cellar well for the foreseeable future; I would definitely buy it again.

    APPEARANCE:
    Color & intensity: pale gold

    NOSE:
    Intensity: pronounced
Aromas: baked yellow apple, toasted almond, brioche, baking spices (nutmeg, vanilla, slight hint of clove), crushed stone, walnut, hints of sweet tobacco and white flowers
    Development: developing

    PALATE:
    Sweetness: dry
    Acidity: medium
    Alcohol: medium
    Body: medium (+)
    Mousse: delicate
    Intensity: medium (+)
Flavors: baked yellow apple, baking spices, toasted almond, brioche, crushed stone, lemon, lemon zest, hint of salt
    Finish: long

    CONCLUSIONS:
    Quality level: very good
Potential for ageing: can drink now but has good potential for further ageing

February 10, 2024 - Bottled in September 2016, disgorged on 3/8/2023, 55% from 2015 and the rest from a perpetual reserve started in 2012, 3.5g/l sugar.
This came off as quite dense and ample for Chardonnay. Fine bubbles, ripe, bread and brioche, chalky and slightly oxydative. To me it felt brut rather than extra brut which might be a result of ripeness. Very good Champagne, needs food.

January 31, 2024 - 55% 2015 and the rest reserve, disgorged March 8th 2023. Mesnil white fruit, stewed pear, vanilla brioche, lychee acidity. So delicious, balanced, rich and layered. 93
