February 23, 2019 - Full body, medium acidity, medium long finish. Lemon, green apple, lichee and butter.

February 8, 2019 - Full disclosure, I am no Chardonnay expert. Think lemon—lemon juice, lemon rind, and preserved lemon for this wine. Notes of brioche and spice are VERY subdued but offer structure to the bright citrus. I paired this with a lemon thyme roasted chicken served over greens.

December 24, 2018 - Oak, some minerals, and mostly freshly squeezed lemon on the nose. Very expressive! As it warms up a bit in the glass, the fresh lemon is joined by interesting earthy notes. On the palate, the wine has a fairly oily mouthfeel with strikingly tart (in a good way!) citrussy/lemony flavors. I don't normally like any tart notes in wines but in this case they're refreshing and add character. Highly recommended at the price point and especially if you like citrus-driven CA chardonnay.

December 17, 2018 - This is simply fantastic for the regular price, and even better for the $19.99 I paid during the Sokolin Black Friday sale (shhhh). I have loved Linda Vista Vineyard Chardonnays from the Matthiassons, and this is equally good. It is soft and silky, but has power and poise in spades, and is just so utterly drinkable. Bottle gone in an hour, which happens rarely in our household.
