  January 9, 2021 - The Tergeno is a pure Albana (earlier vintages also had Chardonnay in them). Tergeno is a late harvest style cuvée with a small percentage of late harvested grapes affected by botrytis, which by no means make the wine heavy, but very expressive. Albana is in a class of its own and can be vinified from light and sparkling to dry and residual sweet to Sauternes or TBA style wines. It also does very well with maceration. What I particularly like about it is the texture it offers. And it is exactly this concise texture that the Tergeno shows. There are white flowers here, some anise and actually cardamom, citrus along with peel, substance and a supporting acidity. A good finish with the pears and the freshness together.

  October 14, 2017 - Straw yellow color with golden reflections for this excellent white blend from Zerbina. Ample bouquet with mineral notes followed by white flowers, mango, yellow peach, herbs. In the mouth sapid, well balanced, good structure deriving from the presence of noble rot grapes. Long finish.

  June 13, 2017 - Fattoria Zerbina (Marzeno - Faenza): Magnum. 40% late harvest.
  Bright golden yellow. Medium intensity at nose. Acacia flowers and anise.
  Dry, full mouth, clean, with a bright acidity. Agrumes' notes.
  Long persistence, with some sweetness emerging. Good body
  More Albana than Chardonnay in the blend.
