  March 30, 2020 - Same as my note from September 2019 except it is now fully integrated. What an amazing wine Vailia has made and I definitely need to go buy several more bottles from my local wine store

  September 14, 2019 - Dark garnet and opaque in the glass; medium(+) intensity on the nose as I could smell it as I was pouring; aromas of blackberry briar, blueberry, tobacco, leather, milk chocolate, and violets on the nose; Blackberry, plum, leather, and pepper on the palate; medium(+) body, medium(+) alcohol, medium(+) tannins; long finish of over a minute. Great complexity on the nose and tannins are starting to soften. Starting to go from balanced to integrated.

  November 27, 2018 - I've had many bottles of this wine, but this time I decanted it for an hour and got a different profile. This Cabernet from Paso Robles was dark garnet in the glass with aromas of blackberry, spice, mint, and vanilla on the nose. Flavors of blueberry, cherry, pepper, and a little graham cracker on the palate. My wife said it tasted like blueberry pie. Medium(+) body, medium acidity, and refined tannins. This was a lush wine that continues to produce and wow me every time I drink it. I have one more bottle in my cellar that I'm going to hold on to for at least another year.
