August 31, 2024 - Honestly. Very good. Better than last year. Rose petals and tar on the nose. Super fine. Beautiful. Expansive palate with juicy acidity backed up by high tannins keep drawing you back. Top notch - and this for a normale, from 2014...

July 4, 2024 - It’s been a while since I tried one. Slow oxed for several hours then into a decanter. A typical nose of roses, tar and wet soil. At first it hits you with the fresh tannins that quickly fade to sweet strawberries, cherries, and bitter orange rind. Still feels young at 10 years old. As this unfolds it becomes civilized. The tannins recede to reveal a beautiful expression of Nebbiolo. This can go many years more and I’m going to hold a few to see it then. In the past I think I’ve opened Produttori wines way too early.

June 14, 2024 - Air is a friend. Decanted 30min. Dark brick red. Lots of fruit. Cherries. Spice. Medium to long finish.

March 29, 2024 - The nose was still not giving much after 3 hours. The palate though was creamy black cherry, dried mushrooms, spices and rock. The finish was not too tannic.
