November 8, 2023 - NOTK Bring Your Own Bottle dinner (NOTK, Rotterdam): Good, but not as great as I had hoped or expected. It’s lean, fresh, elegant, lots of minerality, hardly any tertiary aroma’s yet. Medium+ acidity, medium+ finish. 91-92
October 22, 2023 - Odd range of scores here. Perhaps some poor bottles or bad storage? This is drinking beautifully now - very precise, mineral structure with a lengthy citrus finish. No hurry to drink it, but definitely worth a try now if you have a case.
October 18, 2023 - Hmmmm……. I must sit on the fence a little here. I love the producer and really want to enjoy this, but there just seems to be an overwhelming smell/taste of cheese…. I’m going to resist the urge to score this and mark as neutral with no rating.

It seems soooooo light
Not a big nose
Like a water body
A bit acid/lemon like but not too much
Mouth is also not demonstrative
Its not bad but i think not my type seems…
A bit deceptive for kind of dreamed bottle
For me not even close to the price range of this bottle
December 18, 2022 - I can see the hype and the quality here. At 138 pounds I felt a little disappointed. It is a textbook lesson in minerality, precision and what structure can be. A lesson in purity. But I felt the wine didn't give as much. Perhaps I was drinking it a little cold and a little quickly, but it didn't give an abundance of flavour as say a top white burgundy would. Perhaps I am biased, but it was still from a textbook sense an outstanding wine.
November 14, 2022 - Third time drinking this vintage, and it has improved much better with clean mineral profile without any pyrazine volatility. 92
February 17, 2022 - This Pouilly-Fume has a huge personality and gives one compelling lesson in terroir. Pronounced aroma of bell pepper, smoke, yellow apple and unripe peach, white flower. Intense fruit, herbal and mineral is delivered on a razor's edge of acidity, yet rounded in a pleasant oily texture. Very long finish. Can age another 5+ years easily and probably get better.
January 7, 2022 - Smokey aroma, dense mouthfeel, ample fruit. Another Loire tonight that could be a fun ringer in a Burgundy tasting.
