March 20, 2017 - Opened the last bottle to see if this was deserving of a 75 score from someone who admittedly knows very little about the grapes from which this wine was sourced (which is actually from a FBG vineyard in the Hill Country, which is rather close to the actual vineyard). This wine continues to remain very interesting, and definitely still has a lot of front-loaded acidity and medium red berry on the nose and palate. This wine has a little bit of eucalyptus on the front. Brambly middle. This wine has not fully integrated, but definitely not worthy of a 75 (it's worthy of an NR). I think that it will need another year to integrate. This is such a different wine given that it has the kitchen sink included in it. I wish I had a few more bottles of this, and plan to acquire a few more to hold them and see how they develop.

March 14, 2017 - 2 - don't buy again. They import some grapes from CA.

October 23, 2016 - This was kind of an interesting little "field blended" bottle of both red and white grapes. "Word on the street" is that there are something like 13 different types of grapes in this cuvee. The nose of this wine was raspberry bramble. The entry of this wine really does follow suit, with raspberry crush in the front with a balanced acidity from start to finish yet still feeling soft and rounded on the palate in the middle. A little "weedy" in the front. Pomegranate and herb in the middle. Finished softer than expected with not a lot of tannin. Almost seemed to develop a little hint of "salty bacon fat" on the finish. The cream cheese in the sausage stuffed bacon wrapped jalapenos did a great job of taming the acidity. Even still, I think that this would go well with cream cheese and raspberry preserves on top of a saltine cracker. All in all, this was a neat little wine. Wife wasn't as much of a fan as I was. I think this one can lay down a little while longer! I don't imagine this one will hold that long, so drink and enjoy now.
