Community Tasting Notes 7

May 5, 2019 - Decanted for 5 hours but it took 7 to 8 to reach its stride. I had forgotten I had been wowed by this wine only a month ago. I obviously should have rated it more highly then. What was I thinking? According to data on the right, there remain 186 bottles of this marvel in this community's cellars, two of those being mine. There is no time like the present.

April 6, 2019 - Decanted for 7 hours prior to consumption. The cream of big Paso wines: amazing depth; seamless texture; solid structure; and an extended finish. Simply stated, Scott Hawley consistently crafts many of the areas finest wines.

June 6, 2017 - Excellent dark and red fruits in this full-bodied wine. Reminiscent of a modern CdP, this is well-balanced and not over oaked, with excellent structure. Torrin continues to impress me with the quality of their wines. Give it 1-2 hours in the decanter or wait another year. 94 now, with upside potential.
