March 14, 2024 - Red apple, citrus, toffee and bready tones in the nose
Red apples, fresh acidity, grape, nuts, minerality, red fruit in the finish.
March 3, 2024 - 2018 base, disgorged 01/2022. Nice complexity for an entry level champagne. Well balanced. Good value.
February 25, 2024 - This is good but not as good as other cuvées from this producer. From a 375 and probably consumed too cold…
February 17, 2024 - this was delicious, tons of apple and pear notes. we drank as an aperitif before dinner for valentines day and It was lovely
November 11, 2023 - One glass from a 375, similar to previous notes. Perhaps not special but very enjoyable.
October 27, 2023 - Champagne Tasting on Champagne Day (Park 90): Impressions. Base 2016, disgorged 1/21, dosage 5g/l. Med aromas seem a little closed. Full body with a candied finish. A rather simple champagne. Expected more from this producer
October 21, 2023 - Disgorged Jan22. PNP. Cork perfect. Color straw. Nose has some apple but the earthiness makes its Pinot N and M heritage evident. Sipping this shows rich dense fruit that overpowers the acid structure. This is rich champagne and would serve with something hearty
September 29, 2023 - Aline Wines’ Grower Champagne Tasting (WineHouse, Los Angeles): This is almost a Blanc de Noir with the blend of 40% PN, 40% PM, and only 20% Chardonnay. It really shows and I would think it was a rosé by the nose. Slightly coller colour, too. Strawberry, raspberry, whipped cream. Lighter body than I expected. Red apple peels.
8/18
