September 6, 2018 - Dense, almost opaque-tasting wine. There is plenty of Barbera character and tannin. However, it is missing the supple, soft quality of many Barberas. I would try to forget I had a bottle of this for several years to see if it develops.

    December 31, 2017 - Light and smooth

September 7, 2017 - Juicy fruit and good balance, but there was a streak of VA that dominated the wine for a while. It largely blew off after 90 minutes, or maybe I just got used to it, as the next night when I had the leftovers it was back full force. Not sure what to make of this right now.

March 21, 2017 - Crisp juicy, very pizza friendly red. Very guzzleable.
