October 20, 2021 - This bottle was much better than the last one. Bottles variance occurs from time to time. Blue and red fruit combine with wild herbs, tobacco and spice notes from the well integrated oak. Wonderful aromatics. Great depth and texture. This wine is in full stride now with five to seven years of exceptional drinking in front of it. Good juice.

September 21, 2021 - This wine still continues to impress, especially at this price point. Red fruit mingles with a touch of tobacco, tilled soil and pyrazine on the nose and finish. I typically don’t like pyrazine in any form, but it is slightly noticeable. Medium weight on the palate. Good value.

April 24, 2021 - A delightful cab franc with an unlikely dark fruit (typically I find red fruit to dominate Bordeaux varietals in Washington) profile leading the way with accents of wild herbs. Good depth and texture. The nose is inviting. After nine years the wine is still fresh and vibrant. Good juice.

January 4, 2020 - This wine continues to impress me. Wonderful note of red fruit lead the way with wild herbs playing second chair. The oak is wonderfully integrated and provides just a hint of spice. Great texture and aromatics. Good juice!

November 30, 2019 - This wine continues to gain in complexity. Red fruit, wild herbs and light spice from the integrated wood. Wonderful texture and depth. This Cabernet Franc drinks well above its price point. Good juice.

December 15, 2018 - Bright red fruit and a hint of blue and garrigue in the background. This wine has added a good amount of weight since I last tasted it. Good texture and depth. After a one hour decant, the wine continued to gain more complexity through the last glass.

August 10, 2018 - Big wine that is a little hard around the edges, maybe needs a little more time?

March 10, 2018 - Dark fruit, wild herbs take center stage here. Good acidity and balanced oak. Excellent example of the varietal from this part of the country. It is not as complex as the Cadence Bel Canto, but is very enjoyable.

June 5, 2017 - Powerhouse Walla Walla Cab Franc. Lots going on in this wine that I liked. Could use a bit of time in the bottle as it still has some grip mid palate. Nice aromatics out of the glass on a pnp but really powerful. Liked the deep earthiness and only a bit of green on the palate. Should only get better.
