July 23, 2023 - 90% CS, 3% Syrah, 3% Malbec, 2% Cab Franc, 2% Merlot from Columbia Valley, WA. Opaque, deep ruby with thick legs. Med+ to pronounced black cherry, ripe black currant, red cherry, sweet tobacco, vanilla, mocha, sweet baking spice. Dry but fruit-driven, w/ med acidity, med+, polished tannins and high alcohol (14.9%). Full-bodied, w/ med+ flavor intensity and length. Very well balanced and more elegant than the 2013. Drinking well great now, but has several years left.

February 5, 2023 - Plush and expressive, with a focused and complex core wrapped in rich and supple red currant, orange zest and spicy mocha flavors that build speed to the dynamic finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Paired perfectly with beef stew.
