March 20, 2022 - Outstanding (virtually unknown) Southern Spanish single varietal wine. Bright and rich purple color. Full bodied but delicate at the same time. Dark berry aromas with hints of roasted vegetables and leather. Dark cherry and plum fruit flavors with notes of those roasted vegetables, black pepper, bacon and dark chocolate. Very harmonious. Tannins are very evident but well rounded/integrated. Very pleasant surprise!

October 24, 2019 - This seems fairly mature now. Intense cherry lozenge fruit with good structure to carry it. The creaminess of the fruit seems like old vines. Almost reminiscent of a new world Cabernet in style and flavor profile.
