March 28, 2023 - This is showing beautifully now - very laid-back, earthy tones, well-balanced. The extra bit of bottle age has really let this develop.
December 25, 2022 - Not quite as good as my last bottle. Maybe it seemed that way because we had it at the tail end of dinner after finishing a really great bottle of Austin Hope cab, so it was up against tough competition in a direct comparison. Still good though.
July 24, 2022 - Wine has matured nicely since my last note of 12/31/20. Much less tightly wound. Tannins have softened to reveal fruit flavors. A nice bottle of cab that went well with grilled steaks.
November 8, 2021 - Surtout sur les poivrons verts, un turn off pour moi!
Il y a aussi du boisé et des tannins un peu asséchants
avec une finale longue mais sur la chauffe.

March 13, 2021 - Wine has improved since last consumed bottle in 2018. More balanced & rounded fruit flavors.
December 31, 2020 - A nice complement to braised short ribs that everyone liked, but I'm not seeing the 96 from Suckling.
November 4, 2020 - Deep purple color. Aromas of dark berries and black pepper. The palate is dry, balanced, and medium bodied, with notes of blackberry, black plum, boysenberry, chocolate, and cassis.
August 17, 2020 - Jammy on the front. Earthy tones. Acidic. Great with food.
August 13, 2020 - The last bottle was flawed. I think this is what it’s supposed to taste like. It’s just not good.
