April 26, 2024 - Medium body red with lots of character. Nose: mineral, some barnyard funk, cranberries, raspberries, charred oak, and sandalwood. Palate: minerality, sand, underbrush, cranberries, mushrooms, raspberries, lively acidity. Versatile for pairing, and better with food.

Not much to add to my prior TN and others' TNs. Drinking great now as it pushes towards its tenth year.
Consumed over a couple of nights from Coravin before popping the cork. I decided to not have any of this with food to simply enough the wine on its own.
$27 paid years ago, current vintages trading in the upper-$30s to low-$40s still represent sharp QPR in the world of fine wine.

February 15, 2024 - Super bretty with too much barnyard on the nose. Nice red fruit on the palate but hard for me to get past the nose. I enjoy the 2019 version of this wine significantly more.
February 3, 2024 - Ce vin évolue d’une façon remarquable. Depuis quelques années il a gagné en souplesse et en complexité. Si je le trouvais un peu trop costaud pour l’appellation il y’a quelques années, il est beaucoup plus fin tout en étant très expressif. Grande longueur en bouche avec une belle finale très fraîches. Nous sommes dans les petits fruits rouges.
January 2, 2024 - Showed mainly barnyard and berries with a firm aftertaste when opened, after 2 hours in the decanter it still shows some barnyard and dark berries but now it builds more an integrity together with a note of tar, just gorgeous to sniff on it. On the palate good freshness, medium bodied with 14% vol., good depth and structure and a long finish, 92+.
Improved a lot within the last 2 years. Was lovely with home made Pizza but also superb on its own. Drink now or within the next 10 years and give it enough air.

Fresh acidity, violet, cherries, minerality, long balanced finish.

This magnum displayed both the incredible affability of a well-cooled bottle in summer and the master hand that brings Burgundian edges to the earthy, poignant Cote de Py gamay. Long on the palate, redolent with dark red and purple fruits, some spice elements that increase the complexity and just a delight
