  February 20, 2022 - From 75cl, perversely heavy bottle makes even a conservative person like me think of the impending climate disaster. Sickly-sweet, hot concoction with 14,5% alc. according to the label (feels more like 16%), pruny blackberry-like fruit. Think inferior Aussie Shiraz at a similar price point, ignore the idiotic Maroni "99P" and just walk away to spend your money on something else. 84–85P

  April 29, 2021 - No flaws and pleasant enough as a modest inexpensive sipper with a variety of salty dishes, cheeses, etc. A bit on the extracted/sweet side but did not offend like some which go over the top.

Yet another reason not to buy this wine: why use such a ridiculously heavy bottle, label it prominently as a Maroni 99-pointer and then put such a short, inferior and poxy cork in the neck? Is that a true reflection of what the producer thinks of their own product?

  November 6, 2020 - Tiefsunkles rot. Leicht orange an den Rändern. Dunkle fruchtige aromen. Intensive aromatik nach beeren pflaumen Süßholz Großer Körper leicht brandig allerdings am Gaumen. Langer Abgang. Schwer. Für die Hälfte des preises sehr okay.
