November 17, 2019 - Strong typicity throughout and very well made. It stands out on account of its textural nuance and weight, balanced by medium plus acid. Generous and long.

November 1, 2018 - Almost water clear, modestly textured, somewhat generic melon flavor. Surprisingly weak acidity until the swallow, which finally had hints of citric acidity. Lightly mouth cleansing. Best part of taste was a fairly long and juicy finish. Overall, disappointingly way below the 95 point rating in Decanter.

August 10, 2018 - Citrus, herbal note, light pepper, creamy lees. Green fruit, snap pea, lentil. Ok, basic Gruner, showing some typicity.

September 10, 2017 - Book Club (FMIII in the OC): A little effervescence but it disappeared quickly. Green apple and pear with a nice mineral foundation. Nose was a bit muted. Very enjoyable on a warm afternoon with artichoke dip.

September 26, 2016 - Some effervescence, with high acid buffered by ample stone fruit. Lacks typical GV aromas at this point.
