February 1, 2021 - cherries, raspberries, chocolate, cedar, black plum, and warm toasted spices

has always been a rather silky and leaner feel, pretty in line with what spring mountain should be

November 11, 2020 - Nicely rounded with age. I don't think this was ever a brash wine to begin with, but it has softened further over the years. Nice blend of black and red fruit, Medium- tannins, M- acidity, M body, M long finish. A rare CA mountain Cab that can be enjoyed on its own, even without food.

October 23, 2020 - Cassis, black raspberry, cigar box, sweet tobacco, mocha, vanilla. Medium-full body. Medium acidity. Medium, chalky tannins. Medium-long finish. Drink or hold.

August 3, 2020 - Drinks beautifully with a 2+ hour decant. Complex array of currants, creme de cassis, licorice, and tobacco over smoke and char. The palate is Old School, deep, and gently structured, with a burst of black raspberries and perfectly integrated oak. Its flavors and textures just kept evolving and unfolding throughout the night, exactly the way a great wine should.

May 11, 2020 - Schweiger wine does not disappoint. Wonderful to taste and smell-great structure from start to finish.
