December 20, 2019 - So this is how a pure Margaux is supposed to taste like. If I didn't know better, I would have thought it was a middle-aged pommard from a ripe year (say 1999?). Very good acid, red berries and some tannins that were present but almost imperceptible. With time, some soy and soil/undergrowth inflections also came out. Very wonderful and such a treat!

December 1, 2019 - My first BAMA and I liked it a lot - but it is old school in a way that few BDX wines are these days and it kind of nearly shocks you at first if you are used to the others. There is no oak or sweetness for anyone wanting easy pleasure - this is pure old school leather, soil and tea. A wine for meditating.

November 1, 2019 - Decant for 4 hours, served chilled ..so far my best wine from this amazing winery, colour was deep brick red, nose had boysenberries, iron, minerals, taste was delicious fresh tannins attack and berries, minerals and this iron feeling , wow. Bordeaux from BAMA I love you.

October 3, 2019 - A 100% sure thing when paired with with various Asian tacos, Korean fries, and the Belly Burger at Belly Uptown in Oakland, where the energy is great and the corkage is ten bucks.
