November 28, 2021 - Beautiful nose of creme de cassis/black currant, new French oak, cocoa powder, and blackberry. Medium-full bodied, with a plush texture, this is really delicious! Uncomplicated, but complete, this is brimming with more creme de cassis and fresh black currant and blackberry fruit as well as a touch of cedar/spice and vanilla-tinged oak and more cocoa! This really shows the balance of the 2014 vintage in Napa. 92

May 30, 2021 - The inky darkness of this luscious wine pulls us into its full- mouthed softness. Utterly smooth, silky and soft, a nose of all dark fruits, chocolate and leather, leads directly to a delicious palate of the same. If you are fortunate enough to have had this, you are indeed lucky! This first half of our last bottle (pardon me while I console my wife!), consumed with spaghetti, marinara and olive-feta pull-apart bread. A perfect meal.
6/3/21 - equally good with rigatoni and meat sauce!@ Yum!!

April 15, 2021 - Nice Cab and good value. Opened bottle 90 minutes before serving. Not as full-bodied as other Napa Cabs over $50, and not overly tannic. Slight notes of pepper, tobacco, and perhaps just the barest hint of chocolate. Very good with grilled steak. Would also be good with hearty cheeses.

January 6, 2021 - one of my favorites. Well balanced lovely nose of violets and fruit. smooth easy to drink
The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like violet and bell pepper. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
