October 20, 2018 - Deep garnet, clear edges, some browning. Nose of flat cola, herbs (rosemary bush), ripe plum and a smokey edge. On the tongue it's savoury flavours, charcuterie, with dark cherry and brown sugar. Nice finish. This is simple and has an elegance. Tannins are keeping this structured, but drink now, not to be kept any longer.

Recent Seresin kept wines have been disappointing, they just don't have the depth to keep.

April 8, 2017 - Tasted after 2012 Leah. A bit more concentration, rounder, richer with good acidity and grip. A bit more depth and complexity. Very good length. 91-92+

January 16, 2017 - New Zealand London Annual Trade Tasting (Lindley Hall, Royal Horticultural Halls): Red fruit, spices and sweet oak, the palate is light, tasty, red fruit and spices again, straightforward and easygoing, lacking complexity but would be nice to have on its own, med finish
