December 20, 2018 - I really like LaRue wines. Lower in alcohol than most Cali Pinots but still full of flavor and aroma with nice color. This drank well immediately after opening

September 9, 2018 - Pale garnet color. Nose of forest and old wine barrel. Light body. Tastes of cranberry, blackberry, orange peel, rose petals, sandalwood, thyme and pine. I think this is mostly a wonderful blend of Rice-Spivak (aromatic) and Thornburg (meaty). Style is restrained and balanced, for Burgundy fans and not lovers of RRV fruit bombs. Drinking well now but has several more years at peak.

May 23, 2017 - Nice but a little trim. Lighter style for Cali which is a nice change. Might need some more time to develop
