August 29, 2019 - It seemed to get more complex and fruity and rounded mouth feel as time went on, perhaps after an hour upon opening. Delicious!

October 30, 2018 - Medium + acid. Great black fruit on the nose, medium intensity. Palate shows lots of baked and stewed fruit. So, if your holding this wine drink ASAP!!!! Long finish. If you like California Zins showing signs of age, this is your wine.

November 7, 2017 - Love Keenan wines, but this zin has a very unpleasant metallic aftertaste to it. Very uncharacteristic for Keenan. Was a pnp, so perhaps the metallic edge will dissipate. If it does, will update, but not optimistic.

August 20, 2017 - Family Winemaker's 27th Annual Tasting San Francisco, nose of black cherry, allspice, and earth, same on the palate, big body, tasty, lovely and rich fruit, mouth filling fruit, slightly fruit forward, small amount of soft tannins on mid palate, and a long finish.
