February 15, 2021 - Was recommended this by someone I trust and was not disappointed! Mitolos answer to Amarone. Grapes are air dried for, I believe, up to 8 weeks.

Colour is dark red, almost cloudy. Nose of blueberries, but unlike the usual new world version, these berries have been dipped in dark chocolate.

Lively, almost sharp mouthwatering acidity did the Châteaubriand we ate with it, all kinds of favors. Tannins are medium, slight balance favoring the acid here.

Again, the dark chocolate, dried blue fruits are a wonderful change.

Lovely finish. Medium plus length. A ways to go with this wine yet. I don't see why another 3-5 years wouldn't put this right in the sweet spot.
