  March 8, 2019 - Clear berry flavors, but with a tart, brambly affect. A bit of liqueur on the nose. Though there is a bit of that kind of intensity on the palate, there's a liveliness that keeps this wine energetic and fresh.

  February 24, 2019 - Popped 'n poured with my wine group. No real notes, bu it was part of Spanish and California "Rhone grapes from other places" night. This was the group favorite.

  March 4, 2018 - Had this as part of a "The Farm Winery" night with my wine group. 5 red wines. Continued to improved through the night.

  December 18, 2017 - A Few California Samples: Deep ruby color. Gushes with aromas of sweet cherries, raspberry jam, and waves of cola, coffee, rose petals, black pepper, bold and hedonistic but lovely. Full-bodied (duh, 14.9%) but not heavy, the tannins have grip but feel suave and there is a surprising amount of acidity in this wine that makes it refreshing. Cherries, raspberries, dark plums, bold but fruit has some tartness to it. Notes of coffee, pepper, mocha, cola, clove and leather add complexity. Delicious, polished, really opens up with time so there’s no rush to drink this. Grenache with 20% Syrah, aged in old French oak for 24 months.
