August 7, 2021 - Nicely developed garnet colour. Beautifully integrated nose of cinnamon and ripe red cherries. Velvety mouthfeel, much more vinous that the generic Beaujolais appellation may lead to expect. Served at 14-15 degrees and that was just perfect. Worked like a dream with some excellent home made sourdough mushroom/truffle pizza’s, but could even handle small game.
In a great drinking window now, will not gain on quality by further cellaring. Wish I had more bottles left…
