  July 18, 2020 - Vin qui a drôlement bien évolué. Nez fruits rouges mûrs, herbes, quelques notes floral. En bouche, tout est en rondeur, moyennement corsé, belle équilibre. Finale sur le fruit. À point. J'aime vraiment les vins de ce vignoble.

  March 22, 2020 - I was the beneficiary of a partially opened bottle after a restaurant closed. It was barely down to the shoulder so essentially a full bottle that had a day or two to 'decant' in the bar. Held up quite nicely although I still prefer (slightly) the 2014 vintage ... but as a wise man once said: "It's always tastes best when it's free!"

  February 1, 2019 - I think this is the most consistent wine year after year from Burrowing Owl. It is more old world like than the modern Washington State and California Merlot. It has lots of fruit flavors but with enough acidity to prevent it from being fruity.
