May 7, 2022 - This bottle was based on the 2016 vintage and was disgorged in December 2020 and dosed at 1g/l. 100% grand cru Bouzy fruit.

As usual from this cuvee- this bottle was a winner.

Lots of citrus, white flowers, baking spice and plenty of autolytics.

The high acidity and low dosage leads to a lip smacking palate which is loaded with flavor concentration. The wine finishes medium plus to long.

Drinking well now, this will hold in a cold cellar for another 5 years easily.

Light intensity aroma of apple, pear.
Dry, high acidity, low alcohol. Medium- body. Light intensity aroma of apple, pear, cream, vanilla. Short finish.

January 1, 2022 - Luscious, bread dough galore. Great stuff. My favorite champagne at this point. So much more here than the mass market stuff.

December 7, 2021 - This bottle is based on the 2015 vintage and was disgorged in September 2020 and was dosed at 1.8g/l.

70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay all from Grand Cru (Bouzy).

Gorgeous medium gold color with just a tinge of "rose like" color.

Takes a bit of time in the glass to unwind pronounced aromas of bright citrus, honey and hints of cherry and lime pie . Just beautiful.

Medium bodied with requisite high acidity. In spite of this wine being dosed at a very low level, the mouthfeel is gorgeous and the fruit shines through. Just delicious with a medium plus (ish) finish.

Drink now , but I suspect well stored bottles will cruise in the cellar (at your own risk of course!)
