  April 6, 2020 - dark, inky; restrained, smashed dark blue berries, older but still showing its provenance; subtle acidic fruit notes with balanced tannins. An excellent expression of Wash. Syrah for a troubling time. Or, my olfactory senses are gone because I have covid-19.

  July 30, 2019 - Dark purple-crimson. Funk and smoke on the nose with dark cherries. Palate is square, tight, and compact, bringing loads of blackberry, black currant, olives, leather, and ash. The palate is thick and tannic. Enjoyable, but a terrible QPR. Drink 2020-2028. Technical score: 87. Enjoyment score: 89.
