August 28, 2019 - Nose of dried cranberry, beetroot, and aniseed. Palate shows strong, dark flavours of blackberry, black cherry, leather, and fennel seed. There are hints of cola and forest floor. Many thought this was drinking well now; I think it will improve as the flavour softens and unravels.

March 8, 2018 - Quintessentially Wine Client Portfolio Tasting in association with H2Vin (The Westbury Hotel, London): £38/btl. Light, accessible after all those hard burgundies. Bonfire night. Cool and refreshing.

February 8, 2018 - (at Marion - Melbourne) This is much more new world in style compared to wines from the past two nights. Richly colored with just a hint of purple added to the ruby core. Ripe, dark berry fruits and a hint of cola? Full bodied and rich with good flavor penetration. Nice but have preferred other wines on this trip. Love the restaurant, however. (89)

May 12, 2017 - On the nose there is ripe red fruit, bright with woody oak in the background.

Sweet on entry. Very nice acidity. Juicy and fresh, with good length.
Some oak discernible through the palate.

Linear in profile. Just so young. Opens up in glass after 40mins or so.

Very nice wine. Will revisit in 3-4 years time. Needs time to come together a bit more.

October 9, 2016 - Pinotpalooza (Carriageworks, Redfern): Spicy, ripe cherry, slightly cedary notes, quite perfumed top notes…more savoury on the palate, with floury tannins and darker fruit.
