June 8, 2017 - A little more on my tasting note Farnetella is owned by th Felsina Beradinga group who produce my favorite Chianti wines. This plot is southeast of Felsina halfway to Montepulciano. I'm tasting it against the Felsina Chianti Classico right now. The Farnetella is lighter in all ways but still classical Chianti and delicious and only $10.
June 8, 2017 - Quite a decent chianti, good color nose tast and finish
January 3, 2017 - cheap, simple and pleasant
November 11, 2016 - 12.5% ABV, mostly Sangiovese, some merlot. garnet, stewed plums nose, somewhat tart, earthy black plum, green vines.
