December 14, 2020 - Absolutely stellar. A great bottle of this somewhat inconsistent wine. Beautiful ruby color with a rim turning to orange. The nose is stunning: meaty and dark berry fruited. So full and piercing. The palate is rich, slutty and mature. It lacks the complexity for a higher score but boy do I like it. So nice after the previous underwhelming experience. (94)

December 2, 2020 - Last time I had this wine was in 2000 and it was singing on high notes. Now not so much. It’s past it’s prime drinking window where fruit is all gone. Brick rim, medium ruby center, olives, peppers, black pepper, reduction followed with good acidity and length. Drink now.

November 26, 2020 - Showing slightly better than last time, very correct, very Hermitage, it has all the fixers un terms of tobacco, olives and waht, just lacks the real spark; relatively light on it's feet.

November 26, 2020 - Exceptional. Light ruby color, sweetness that comes with complex aromas of réglisse, mushrooms, truffle, chocolate.

November 14, 2020 - Similar to another ‘97 consumed in this summer, this is very tired. Paired to Beef Wellington via Alinea to go (thanks, COVID-19). Wish I had an older Bdx instead.
